Acceptable use policy
Last updated: [DATE OF APPROVAL]
A portfolio is only useful if people can trust it. These rules apply to everything you upload, generate or publish on Storycase.
Be honest about your work
- Don't publish results you can't stand behind. No invented metrics, made-up client quotes, or outcomes that didn't happen. If the AI suggests a number, confirm it or remove it.
- Don't claim work you didn't do. Credit collaborators and say what your role was.
- Don't impersonate another person, company or brand, or imply an endorsement you don't have.
Respect client confidentiality
- Only publish client or employer work you have permission to show.
- Remove or blur confidential information: unreleased products, internal data, customer names, credentials, and personal data of real users.
- Follow any NDA you've signed. Storycase can't judge your contracts for you.
Respect other people's rights
- Don't upload images, fonts or text you don't have the right to use.
- Don't publish other people's personal data without permission.
Not allowed on Storycase
- Illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or sexual content involving minors.
- Sexually explicit content.
- Malware, phishing, spam, or pages built to manipulate search rankings.
- Abusing the service: scraping, bypassing credit limits, reselling access, automated sign-ups, or probing our systems for weaknesses without permission.
- Using the AI features to produce content that breaks our AI providers' usage policies.
What happens if you break these rules
We may unpublish content, remove it, limit features, or suspend or close the account, depending on how serious it is. Where we can, we'll tell you why. To report a portfolio, email [ABUSE REPORT EMAIL] with the URL.
