1. What Storycase does

Storycase lets you upload images of your work, have AI draft case studies from them, edit those drafts, and publish them as a public portfolio at storycase.io/your-username. Some features, such as custom domains, are only on paid plans.

2. Your account

• You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE, e.g. 16] years old to use Storycase.
• You can sign up with email and password or with Google. Keep your login details safe.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Don't share or sell accounts.
• Your username becomes part of your public URL. We may reclaim a username that impersonates someone or infringes a trademark.

3. Your content

You own what you upload and what you publish. That includes images, text you write, and the case studies you edit and publish.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run Storycase. That includes sending it to our AI providers to generate drafts and showing published pages to visitors. The license ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time (see the privacy policy).

You confirm that you have the right to upload your content and to show it publicly when you publish. If work belongs to a client or employer, or is under an NDA, get permission first.

4. AI-generated drafts

Drafts are written by third-party AI models and can be wrong. They may misread your images or state results that didn't happen. Storycase tags claims in each draft and asks you to confirm them before you publish. You are responsible for checking everything you publish. See the AI disclosure for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to follow the acceptable use policy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break it.

6. Plans, credits and payment

• Free: one published project, 10 one-time credits, and your first case study draft at no credit cost.
• Pro: $12 per month, 120 credits per month, and Pro features such as custom domains.
• Credit packs: one-off purchases of extra credits.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. Stripe processes payments; we don't store your card details. Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel. We may change prices with at least [NOTICE PERIOD, e.g. 30 days] notice by email. A new price applies from your next billing period. Refunds and cancellation are covered in the refund and cancellation policy.

7. Cancelling, deleting and suspension

You can delete your account at any time in settings. Deletion starts a 7-day grace period in which you can restore the account. After that we permanently delete your account and content.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the acceptable use policy, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to export your content first.

8. Our property

The Storycase software, design, templates, styles and brand belong to us or our licensors. You may use the templates and styles to publish your own portfolio on Storycase.

9. Copyright complaints

10. Disclaimers

Storycase is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about availability, accuracy of AI output, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that a portfolio will get you hired or win clients.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or [MINIMUM CAP AMOUNT, e.g. US$100]. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you published or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW, e.g. State of Florida, USA]. Disputes go to the courts of [VENUE]. [ARBITRATION / CLASS-ACTION WAIVER: YES OR NO]. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the law where you live.

14. Changes to these terms
